Big Girl Gets A Job!

We are super proud of Fairy who applied for and secured her first weekend job.  Fairy did four years at Primary School and has been home educated for the last six years.  She now has her sights set on becoming a Veterinary Nurse and begins College this September.  She is gaining valuable experience at a boarding kennels and dog training facility.  You can read more of Fairy’s story here and here.  

Day one has been completed and a happy, tired Fairy returned with stories to share and some well earned money to spend.  I love that her home education enables her to really pursue with full force the pathways she desires.  And if she changes her mind about Veterinary Nursing….?… so what, its the journey that’s important not the destination.  Millions of people change careers at all ages.  No big deal!
