… paddling pools, the smell of sun cream, ice creams, BBQ’s, jumping in puddles, seeking natural shelter from the rain, the sensory experience of feeling raindrops on faces, listening to it falling, watching the ripples of drops in puddles. We have been enjoying the contrast in the weather, from an exceptionally hot day yesterday to non stop rain today. We pulled on our wellies and went puddle jumping this afternoon although we were only out for about 20 minutes and were soaked through. It was fun to dry off and snuggle up under duvets and watch ‘Into the woods,’ the biggies are doing a similar production with their drama group so really enjoyed watching it.

My youngest and I have been puddle jumping today 🙂 it’s lots of fun but we are waiting to get the paddling pool out again. There is nothing better than a warm sunny day.

How fun. Living in Arizona we don’t see much rain so I love seeing rain pictures and children enjoying it. Isn’t ice-cream the best in the summer?
